Yoga Tree offers you:

·        Hatha – Gentle Yoga that takes you trough traditional asanas (postures) and focuses on accurate postural alignment. Emphasis is placed on core strength, flexibility, balance, concentration and breath control. This is recommended for newcomers to yoga or for experienced students who want to work on accuracy of postures and a deeper mind/body connection.

 

·        Dynamic Yoga – A challenging, full body workout designed to improve strength, flexibility and balance. Focuses on postures with breathing. Suitable for all levels.

 

·        Restorative – A series of postures and techniques in a slow, meditative and calm practice. Restorative poses balance the body; props are used as support. This is perfect for beginners, students with injuries, medical conditions or for people who feel fatigued.

 

·        Pre & Post Natal – As an expression of our appreciation of the body’s wisdom in every stage of life, we offer pre-and post natal yoga for mommies and babies! This gentle class is designed to reduce the aches and pains during and after pregnancy in nurturing and supportive environment. We will focus on special breathing techniques, opening of the hips, preparing the body for birth and assisting the body to recover post birth. Post-Natal Classes come under the 'Mommy & Baby Yoga' Classes. While Pre Natal classes come under the 'Restorative & Pre-Natal Yoga' Classes.

 

·       Kids Yoga a thirty minute yoga session that teaches kids the basics of yoga and helps them develop better body awareness, self-control, flexibility and coordination. Yoga can help kids carry these skills beyond lass into their daily routines. Imagery and music are used as motivational tools. This class is interactive and great fun!

 

·       Specialized Yoga Workshops – You have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge and practice of yoga with expert teachers from the worldwide yoga community. Workshops will focus on several aspects of yoga such as postures, breathing and meditation techniques.

 

·       Ashtanga / Vinyasa – is a physically more strenuous form of yoga following the traditional sequence of progressive postures where breath and movement are synchronized. Great for beginners who have a basic level of fitness and more advanced practitioners.

 

·       Kripalu Yoga – Soothing and energizing class with emphasis on being present in your body, breath and mind. Allignment, inward focus and hands-on assisting are tools used in this class.

 

·       Hatha : – A combined class where Hatha Yoga principals meet Yin Yoga, which is a meditative practice with long and deep stretches that promote join health and flexibility. Basic fitness level required.

 

·      Gentle Yoga: – A gentler, slower paced practice accessible to people of all sizes, ages, and fitness levels. Creates an atmosphere of safety and comfort, fostering self - acceptance and self - love. Breathing, Meditation and Physical Postures for increased flexibility, strength and concentration. An invitation to relax, breathe, feel and let go.

 

 

 

Dance & Movement:

 

·         Oriental "Belly" Dance / Belly for Girls: – These fun classes for all ages are a great way to exercise and tone up. You will learn and perfect basic movements in a soft and feminine way to varied music. An easy choreography makes each class exciting. Props and belts are available at the Studio.

 

 

·      Ballet classes run by Emirates School of Ballet: classes taught by two former professional ballerinas from the USA and Canada.
